I’m glad to say that I’ve finally had the opportunity to release the official music video for Can’t Hold Me. This is my first music video that I have ever worked on for my own music. I have seen the ups and the downs, but the challenges I experienced have only helped me to grow as an artist.
In my videos I want to create a story. I’ve never been into just putting some scenes together and call it a video. I like to put effort and make the video have some kind of purpose. However, putting together a visual for a song is no easy task, especially when have a certain vision stuck in your head. I’m the type of person that wants things to go exactly how I see it in my head. Reality hit me hard while filming this video. It’s tough to execute on an indie artist budget. I want big things on a little budget. Talk about stressful!
It’s those little things that keep me motivated and keeps me pushing forward to work towards the goal to afford the high budget videos that I want to put together for my fans to enjoy. It has also taught me how to make the best of my situation. I had to remind myself constantly to take in the moment. It’s important to remember that when you live in the moment you can learn from the experience. There’s always something to learn in order to grow and improve not only as an artist but also as a person.
So despite the challenges Im glad to see how things came together. I can say that it will only get better from here. I hope you all will join me on this journey.
If you haven’t checked out the video here it is!
