Unfortunately, Imani lost her father at the age of 16 years old, and dance no longer seem to bring the happiness it used to. Imani was searching for more only to discover that she had a thing for the art of performing while singing and dancing. With the help of vocal training, Imani is now discovering her sound and exploring her true passion as a performer.
She turned to Soca music because she always embraced her Trini roots and culture. Now she is incorporating some versatile sounds in her music including reggae and pop.
